Detailed Introduction

1、 Fused silica glass
Corning supplies fused silica in many different grades to support different product applications. Glass codes 7980, 7979 and 8655 are high purity fused silica glass with excellent optical properties.
Its product features include: extremely low refractive index variation, resulting in a high level of homogeneity; Extremely low birefringence value; Large size; Covering the transmittance from the ultraviolet band to the infrared band; All of these features are crucial for meeting the demanding requirements of customers.
2、 Low expansion glass
CorningULE ® 7973 is a low expansion glass containing titanium silicate, designed specifically to meet shielding needs and serve as an optical substrate for UV lithography applications. 7973 and ULE ®  7972 glass has a similar composition and is also produced using the same vapor deposition process. A major design shift required for the development of photolithography technology from 193nm to 13.4nm is the transition of the step light group from refraction to reflection. In reflective optics, the substrate material should be purely passive. The incident light should be reflected by multiple layers of optical coatings and photomasks, without causing any mechanical or optical deformation to the underlying substrate. In order to minimize the deformation caused by small temperature changes and meet strict UV lithography standards, the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the substrate must be close to zero and strictly controlled near zero within the expansion range. An extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion needs to reach one billionth per degree Celsius (ppb/C).
3、 Magnesium fluoride glass
Magnesium fluoride is a durable low absorption crystal suitable for high-power lasers, space, and other ultraviolet applications. Magnesium fluoride is also naturally birefringent, making it an ideal material to utilize this property, such as delay plates and polarizing elements, especially in the wavelength range of 0.13-0.30 µ m. Single crystal ingots are specifically produced in the United States using high-purity materials to ensure consistent supply. All dimensional shapes and surfaces, from lumps and blanks to complex multi-faceted, highly polished parts, are available for selection. Provides standard (001) orientation and customized orientation parts and materials. Various surface treatments and coatings can be customized and combined to meet individual customer standards.
4、 Calcium fluoride glass
Fluoride crystal materials have special purity and quality, and can transmit at multiple wavelengths, making them suitable for various applications. Corning also provides design engineering, manufacturing, polishing, and coating capabilities. Calcium fluoride is uniquely suitable for demanding deep ultraviolet to infrared optical applications. Calcium fluoride is physically stable, chemically inert, and has high hardness, making it the preferred material for micro lithography and laser optics applications. The single crystal ingot adopts Corning's high-purity material process to ensure a continuous supply of high-quality crystal grades. A range of all-round shapes are available for selection, from steel ingots to billets and finished products, including complex multi-faceted structures and highly polished parts. We provide standard positioning and parts with specific positioning. Multiple material grades can meet customer needs; Visible infrared, ultraviolet, quasi molecular, ultra quasi molecular, and laser durability. Low absorption coatings are customized according to customer standards, including coatings that enhance laser durability in reflective, anti reflective, and partially reflective applications.
