Focus on the development of hydrogen energy core technology and build a collaborative innovation ecosystem for the industrial chain
On April 22, 2025, the executive meeting of the Shanghai New Materials Association was held at Shanghai Tianyang Times Technology Co., LTD., a vice president unit of the association. This meeting focused on the theme of "Concentrating on the development of core hydrogen energy Technologies and building a collaborative innovation ecosystem for the industrial chain", and conducted research on the future development of the hydrogen energy field. President Gu Lili delivered an important speech. Zhao Guangjun, Director of the Comprehensive Planning Division of the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, was invited to attend the event.
The main work of the association in 2025 and the work situation from January to April

He Koubao, the secretary-general of the association, based on three key focuses: the challenges brought by current trade and tariffs to the industry and member enterprises, the empowerment of industrial innovation and development by artificial intelligence, and the "15th Five-Year Plan" for industrial development, addressed the impact of the US tariff war on the global economy and China's economic development from the perspectives of "strengthening research and interpretation, and ensuring policy implementation". The association has put forward thoughts on its work from five aspects: promoting the organizational work of collaborative innovation in the industrial chain, continuously strengthening in-depth cooperation among industry, academia, research and application, promoting technological innovation and the transformation of achievements, guiding enterprises to seize opportunities, establishing a pool of high-end talents for enterprises, supporting the innovative development of enterprises, and building a "material innovation accelerator" for enterprises. It was reported that from January to April, the Secretariat of the association actively carried out the "three connections" work around the "three services", namely, connecting with the development of going global, connecting with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and connecting with the transformation and application of innovative achievements. It also proactively conducted research and investigation on the empowerment of new material innovation by artificial intelligence, the challenges brought by tariffs to industry enterprises, and the driving effect of new field economies. The main tasks include promoting the development of the association through Party building, facilitating the in-depth integration of Party building work with the association's business, and jointly promoting development.
Lu Yongwei, the chairman of the supervisory board, delivered a speech on behalf of the supervisory board, affirming the association's work this year and the report of the secretary-general, and exchanged the work plans of the association's supervisory board for the second stage of 2025.
The vice presidents engaged in a lively discussion based on the secretary-general's report and the future development of the hydrogen energy field. They expressed their support and affirmation for the association's secretariat's timely adjustment of its work focus in light of the new situation and new requirements, strengthening efforts to address industry hotspots and key demands of enterprises, organizing research and conducting fruitful work. They also expressed their gratitude for the Secretariat's work. Suggestions for the association's work in the second stage of 2025 are put forward. First, it is hoped that the association will create more opportunities, build a diversified exchange and research platform, and empower the innovative development of new materials. Second, focus on key technological breakthroughs in the hydrogen energy field, expand energy application scenarios, increase industrial added value, and release the maximum value of hydrogen energy. Third, strengthen the collaborative and interactive mechanism of the industrial chain to assist member enterprises in coping with the challenges of the trade war. Fourth, we will continue to deepen the connotation of the "three Services" work and continuously enhance the social influence and industry leadership of the association
