Tian Lipu, former director of the State Intellectual Property Office, inspected and investigated Tianyang Times Technology

On May 15, 2025, a delegation led by Tian Lipu, the former director of the National Intellectual Property Administration, who came to Shanghai to attend the 11th Pudong International Intellectual Property Forum, specially visited and investigated Shanghai Tianyang Times Technology Co., LTD.

Director Tian visited the company's historical exhibition room, Fenghua Hall, Party-Mass work station and Honghu New Materials Research Institute, and gained a detailed understanding of Tianyang's core technology research and development situation and its significant strategic significance to China's energy industry.

During the research, Tian Lipu emphasized the significance of intellectual property protection and focused on the key technologies of Tianyang Times' technology focus on new energy materials, especially the hydrogen-blocking and anti-hydrogen embrittlement coating materials that break through the bottleneck of hydrogen energy transmission and storage, as well as the special metallurgical composite oil well pipes for high-content hydrogen sulfide oil and gas fields. It also expressed its approval of the innovative achievements such as the new hot-dip nickel plating material that has significantly reduced costs and increased efficiency by addressing the leakage pain point of the four tubes in ultra-supercritical units. He highly praised Tianyang's business philosophy of "strengthening the foundation of materials, invigorating the country through manufacturing, and serving the nation through industry", and encouraged the company to continue to enhance technological innovation, build a comprehensive and three-dimensional intellectual property protection system, and contribute to the high-quality development of China's real economy.
